Based on the Jan de Hartog play The Fourposter, this rollicking two-character musical was penned by the same team that produced The Fantasticks (Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones). Spaning fifty years, from 1895 to 1945, it focuses on the trials and tribulations, laughters and sorrows, and hopes and disappointments experienced by Agnes and Michael Snow throughout their marriage. The set consists solely of their bedroom, dominated by the large fourposter bed in the center of the room. Mary Martin and Robert Preston comprised the original cast.

The Hill Country Community Theatre is proud to have Melodie Lane and Jeff Foeh as their cast with GiGi Fischer as the director. As usual, at the Thursday the 3rd performance, HCCT will sponsor an opening night reception (at no additional cost to patrons) and the Thursday performances (the 10th and the 17th) are “2 for 1” (two tickets for the price of one with donation) benefiting In Harmony Thrift Store.
