Mr. Bumble (Lance Center) with the workhouse children.
Remember that first time you heard the sweet little orphan say, "Please Sir, May I have some more?" Come relive that heartwarming moment at the Hill Country Community Theatre's production of Oliver. Based on Dicken's novel, it will engage you with its pathos and drama while delighting everyone with its outstanding musical numbers; "Food, Glorious Food," "I'd Do Anything For You," "Where Is Love?", "Consider Yourself," and others.

Oliver opens with a Gala performance sponsored by Patton's on Main on Thursday, July 10 at 7:30. The show will run for 3 weeks, July 10 through 27 with Wednesday through Saturday performances at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:15. Tickets are $20 for adults and $9 for children. Call the box office at 830-798-8944 to get yours before they sell out.

cast. Oliver and Nancy, both newcomers from Austin, are played by Ian Blake and Amie Lara. We've enjoyed watching Austin Koska grow up in the theatre and he returns with the role of The Artful Dodger while his sister, Taylor plays the lovely Bet. The delightful Mr. Bumble is played by the well loved Lance Center and his counterpart, Widow Corney is played by Burnet's own Roseanne Haymond. Paul Otis will be portraying the role of Mr. Sowerberry, the funeral home director, a role which he first played his junior year in high school. Mrs. Sowerberry is Michelle Jett. Cody Summerville plays Mr. Noah Claypool and Jennifer Holland plays the young Charlotte. The role of Fagin is portrayed by HCCT favorite Anson Hahn with Mark Summer being the villain, Bill Sykes. Other adults in the show include: Lazaro Ornelas as Mr. Brownlow, Shannon O'Conner

as Mrs. Bedwin, Chris Porter as the doctor, Lydia and Abigail Miller as the "old ladies" plus Natalie Sommer, who just flew over from Denmark to take part in the chorus. The orphans, pickpockets and other children include: Garrett Jett as Charley Bates plus Ocean Fillingim, Alexandra Hahn, Emma Holcomb, Faith Miller, Seth and Siler O'Connor, Emily Ozane, Adam Pall, Berkley Powell, Henry Rowland, and Sidney and Sienna Sommer. The show is being directed by the theatre's executive director Jim McDermott, with musical direction by Kristine Robinson, Vocal direction by Esther Jones, and choreography by Alicia Sommer.
