Do you have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, anxious, bad combat memories, sexual trauma in the service?? Irritable, worried, no interest in social or sexual activities. Feel distant/isolated, emotionally numb?? Family and friends.do you recognize this in your veteran?? Does living with your vet feel like living in a war zone or living in constant threat of vague but terrible danger?? The Burnet County Veterans Service Officer has recently been trained as a Trauma Survivor Group Facilitator, and would welcome any and all WWII, Korean War, Vietnam, Granada, Iraq I/II, Afghanistan combat vets, any veteran who was a victim of sexual trauma, family members/partners and friends to contact me at 512-715-5271 to discuss your situation, and a path to coping with life stressors.
