CPR classes We offer classes that can be specially modified for
· The lay public interested in being prepared for emergencies at home or work
· Healthcare professionals (nurses, dentists, hygienists, doctors, EMTs, etc.)
· Students entering health education
· Babysitters and Foster parents
· Day care workers and lifeguards
· Businesses seeking higher health and safety standards for the workplace.
All of the classes emphasize a hands-on and practical form of learning in a fun and relaxed atmosphere where students learn
· How to perform CPR on infants, children, and adults
· The use of the AED (automated external defibrillator)
· How to care for choking and drowning victims
· Recognition and treatment of victims of heart attack and stroke
· The basics of first aid care for diabetic emergencies, poisonous snake bites, insect bites, heat and cold emergencies, bleeding and shock, asthma and allergic reactions, poisonings, burns, seizures, etc.
The certification we provide you is through the American Heart Association, and each card we issue is good for two years.
CPR: $45 First Aid: $20
Classes are normally held at the Marble Falls Area EMS training room at 609 Industrial Blvd. in Marble Falls, but they also can be held at your workplace if that is more convenient for you. Depending on the group, most classes last about three and a half to four and a half hours.

Hill Country Community Theatre Summer Camp 2008 Announcement
Two fun-filled weeks in June from the 16th through the 27th; students and teachers will have the complete experience of writing, rehearsing and producing an original work as an ensemble. This piece will be presented in the evening on Friday the 27th. Classes will be in the afternoon, from 1:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. Cost, covering instruction, t-shirts and supplies for production, will be $155.00 per student. Applications are available now, and we will be limiting the class number to 20-25 students. We will also be looking to keep the age range between 7 and 11 years, although we will consider students outside those ages.
